The Inside Games Coaching Conference in partnership with the FCN, announces Vera Pauw as KeyNote Speaker


The Inside Game Coaching Conference is thrilled to announce the participation of Vera Pauw as one of their key note speakers.   Pauw is one of the world’s top football coaches, who recently participated with the South African National team at the Rio Olympics.

“It is thanks to our partnership with the Female Coaching Network that we were able to connect with Vera Pauw and secure her as a keynote speaker at the event”, said Cindy Burwell, Founder and organiser of the INSIDE GAME Coaching Conference.  “Vera is a world class athlete, coach and speaker and we are thrilled that she will join us at the event and share her amazing breadth of coaching experience and knowledge with our delegates.”


About the INSIDE GAME: January 26-27, 2017, Lausanne, Switzerland

The Inside Game is a 2-day interactive conference and workshop for coaches of young athletes that focuses on the emotional and psychological aspects of coaching young athletes.  The goal of the Inside Game is make coaches better, by giving them the knowledge, expertise, understanding and know-how to motivate, interact, talk with, and to positively influence young athletes in a way that will improve performance, confidence and motivation.

It is an opportunity for coaches of all levels and from all sports to learn, share and improve their coaching techniques and styles among a network of coaches from around the world.


About Vera Pauw:

Vera Pauw is a former football player and a coach. She was the first female Dutch player to play professionally in Italy when she signed for Modena in 1988. She played 89 international matches for the Netherlands. She has been Head Coach for Women National Teams since 1998. She worked with the National Teams of Scotland, the Netherlands, Russia and now South Africa. She qualified with the South African team to play at the Rio Olympic Games.

Vera Pauw is a great addition to our all-star line up of experts from the USA, UK, Holland, France and Switzerland that include:

Clay Erro: Award winning youth coach and educator with 35 years experience developing athletes, and now speaker from California USA.

Bill Knowles: Director of Reconditioning and Athletic development for the Philadelphia Union Soccer Club with 27 year’s experience working with Pro, Olympic and Elite youth athletes.

Jim Radcliffe: Head of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Oregon, helping develop top performers in all sports, but particularly (American) Football. Jimmy Radcliffe has nearly 40 years experience coaching high school and University level athletics of all levels and in various sports.

Tania Cotton: Movement specialist and expert in physical literacy, who has worked with elite and world class athletes.

Catia Beni: Doctor of neuropsychology, who works with the Genève-Servette Hockey Club and expert on concussions and ‘return to play’ after a concussion.

We also have Olympic and pro athletes from Switzerland on our panel including:

Sarah Atcho – 4x100m sprinter

Anne-Sophie Thilo – former Olympic sailor

Juliane Robra – International Black Belt Judo medalist and now coach
