Pan Am Games; training ends & the games begin!

As our third day of training draws to a close, our crew is now ready to launch the first real match, which will happen tomorrow.  I've been pretty focused on making sure that our timing, scoring and results procedures are all set to go and that I'm comfortable with my job at the main supervisor station. I did get a little chance to watch some beach volleyball yesterday and walk around the grounds at Pan Am Park.  There's lots of energy and lots of pin trading going on, loud music and concession

Pan Am Games; Brenda’s first day as a volunteer

  Brenda is the Head Coach to the Queen's University Mens Volleyball Team in Ontario, Canada.  Her career has spanned 40 years and in that time she has won many Championships, has an incredible win-loss record and was inducted into the Kingston & District Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.   Brenda is volunteering at the Pan Am Games 2015 which is being held in her home Country Canada.  She will be spending most her in the Exhibition Centre to support the Volleyball.     Below, Brenda shares with us
